NameCoach Roster giving "500 Oops, Something went wrong"

Issue

Why am I seeing an error when I click on the NameCoach Roster from the Navigation panel in the course menu?

Why am I seeing the error: "Ooops, something went wrong An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later."

Resolution

You have to be enrolled in the course to see the NameCoach Roster students list. If your name is not listed in the course roster (People tool), you will see the error shown below. However, if you switch to Student View and access NameCoach Roster from the course navigation panel, it should display correctly.

You only need to report this as an issue to the ITS Help Desk if, in Act as a Student view, you do not see the list of students and their provided pronunciations/phonetics.

When you act as a student, you would see as shown in the example screen below:
