The Online MPH program archives the weekly Zoom meeting recordings as they can be a helpful reference in the future. Our Canvas course sites do not archive these automatically, so there are some manual steps to perform before the 150-day recording deletion deadline.
Time Estimate: 5 minutes
Instructions:
- Go to the U-M Zoom Recordings Manager tool; log in if requested
- From the options provided, we'll use the MiVideo service. Click 'Get started copying recordings to MiVideo'
- Wait a few moments until the page loads your existing cloud recordings from Zoom
- Use the checkboxes to the left of each meeting name to select the class meetings from your Online MPH course (use the checkbox in the header row at the top to bulk un-check recordings)
- Click the 'Copy Selected Recordings to MiVideo Now' button at the bottom of the page
- Your recordings will begin to copy from Zoom to the MiVideo platform and will be available on your My Media page
- Notify us at sph.instruction@umich.edu when these steps are complete
